POSITION SUMMARY
The role of the Wealth Advisor Associate involves creating strategy reports, analyzing client / prospect data to develop personalized financial plans, crafting customized reports for both new and existing clients, and implementing marketing strategies to attract new clients. The Wealth Advisor Associate focuses on client service by comprehending their investment goals and collaborating with the Investment Advisor / Wealth Advisor to provide solutions.
DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
Client Support:
- Establishes and nurtures trust-based relationships with new and current clients, actively assisting them in comprehending their investments and planning strategies, often with the guidance of senior team members.
- Supports Investment Advisors / Wealth Advisor in shaping and delivering financial and investment strategies tailored to each client's specific objectives and concerns.
- Compiles performance reports and other client data, which may involve evaluating account performance, scrutinizing investment portfolio holdings, and generating quarterly investment performance reports.
- Engages in interactive conversations with clients and prospects to ascertain investment objectives, current portfolio status, risk tolerance, and other essential information needed to create comprehensive financial strategies, in collaboration with the Investment Advisor / Wealth Advisor.
- Assists clients with executing orders in Brokerage and Advisory accounts.
- Supports clients in market and stock research.
- Develops Statement of Investment Policy Statements for clients in coordination with the Investment Advisor / Wealth Advisor.
- Organizes and manages events, webinars, and seminars in collaboration with the Investment Advisor / Wealth Advisor, handling marketing and event logistics.
Business Development & Operational Support:
- Creates strategy reports and various communication materials for Investment Advisor / Wealth Advisor to use with clients and prospects as part of the overall marketing effort.
- Analyzes client/prospect data to formulate personalized financial plans and asset allocation proposals using the Firm's proprietary software tools. May lead presentations in partnership with the Investment Advisor / Wealth Advisor.
- Leads a team-wide effort to enhance the client experience, emphasizing value, service, and attention to detail. Also, assists in developing, implementing, and communicating new procedures, products, and portfolio enhancements for clients.
- Identifies and executes practice management opportunities by collaborating with various departments within the firm.
- Prepares presentation materials and proposals to support Investment Advisor / Wealth Advisor in managing performance measurements for existing accounts and fostering new business opportunities.
- Offers tailored recommendations to the Investment Advisor / Wealth Advisor based on specific client situations and potential opportunities.
- Collaborates with the Investment Advisor / Wealth Advisor to establish a comprehensive business plan and marketing strategy, which may involve targeted events and customized seminars.
- Conducts quarterly/annual business performance reviews alongside the Investment Advisor / Wealth Advisor.
- Actively participates in available training and education programs, including firm strategic priorities, professional development, staying updated on policies and procedures, and new platforms. Attend scheduled targeted/monthly field service professional and training calls.
- Proactively engages in firm initiatives directed by local management.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, and SKILLS:
Education / Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience required.
- A four-year college degree or professional certification is preferred.
- Candidate with SIE / Series 7 / Series 63 / Series 65 / Series 66 certifications is preferred.
Knowledge / Skills
- Finds satisfaction in collaborating with individuals and resolving challenges.
- Knowledge of financial industry and investment products preferred.
- Proficiency in measuring the performance of clients' portfolios.
- Effective written and oral communication skills.
- Strong comprehension of relevant compliance rules, regulations, and firm policies.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Affluent in English and Mandarin for language requirement.
