DEPARTMENT PROFILE
Our Investment Banking Department serves as the cornerstone of MY Securities, driving the company's growth initiatives and supporting clients in achieving their strategic financial goals. The team plays a pivotal role in facilitating complex transactions, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, and delivering innovative solutions to meet diverse client needs. As a trusted advisor to our clients and senior management, the Investment Banking Department is dedicated to enabling growth, managing risk, and fostering long-term partnerships.
PLACEMENT & DURATION
This 10-week internship provides a unique opportunity to work with the Investment Banking team. Interns will gain hands-on experience in financial analysis, reporting, and strategic planning within the context of a dynamic and fast-paced financial services environment. This program participate in an intensive division-specific training program focused on developing a strong foundation in the basic skills of financial analysis, accounting and valuation, and work on a wide range of transactions.

DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
The roles and responsibilities of Internship vary but may include:
- Analyzing detailed corporate and financial information.
- Creating statistical exhibits that analyze comparative financial performance.
- Building models to illustrate projected financial results and value to companies.
- Developing marketing memoranda and delivering sections of research presentation.
- Participating in the execution of financings and M&A transactions.
- Acting as the liaison for the team and other parts of the Firm.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, and SKILLS:
Education / Experience
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Management, or a related field; MBA candidates are welcome to apply.
- Preference will be given to candidates with at least one relevant work experience or internship.
Knowledge / Skills
- Enjoys working with people and problem solving.
- Knowledge of financial industry and investment products preferred.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Analytical, adaptive, multi-tasker, team player; possess a strong work ethic and leadership skills.
- Extraordinarily high level of motivation and attention to detail.
- Commercial instinct and ability to perform under pressure and tight deadlines.
- Strong computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
- A proactive, self-starting mindset with a focus on problem-solving and innovation.
- Affluent in English and Mandarin for language requirement.
